Why Professional Bed Bug Treatment Is Essential

Bed bugs are experts at hiding in mattresses, box springs, furniture seams, baseboards, and electrical outlets. Over-the-counter sprays and home remedies usually only kill a few bugs on contact and fail to reach the eggs or hidden populations. This often leads to the infestation coming back stronger and costing you more time and money in the long run.

We do not use fumigation or botanical treatments for bed bugs, as they have not proven reliable enough for complete elimination. Instead, we use a strategic, multi-step approach that targets every stage of the bed bug life cycle for lasting results.

Our Professional Bed Bug Treatment Process

  1. Thorough Inspection We conduct a detailed, room-by-room inspection of your entire home. This includes moving and lifting furniture, mattresses, box springs, and belongings as needed to accurately assess the severity and spread of the infestation.

    Inspection Pricing:
    • $550 + tax for up to 3 rooms
    • $250 + tax per additional room beyond the first 3 rooms
    This inspection fee is fully waived if you decide to proceed with our full bed bug treatment service.
  2. Custom Treatment Plan After the inspection, we create a tailored treatment plan specific to your home and the level of infestation.
  3. Treatment Schedule
    • First full treatment (after your home is properly prepared)
    • Second full treatment - 2 weeks later
    • Final inspection - 2 weeks after the second treatment
All treatments are performed room-by-room. Once the final inspection confirms no signs of activity, you may safely return your home to its normal state (clothing and linens can go back in drawers and closets).

Important Preparation Requirements Success depends heavily on proper preparation. At the time of inspection, we will provide you with a detailed checklist. The home must be fully prepared before we can begin treatment. If the home is not properly prepared on the scheduled service date, we may need to reschedule, which could result in additional costs.

Payment Terms:
  • 50% deposit required to schedule treatment
  • Remaining balance due at the time of the first service

Peace of Mind Protection Plan

Monarch Pest Control is proud to offer one of the few true follow-up protection programs available for bed bugs.

Once your home has been fully cleared of bed bugs, you have the option to enroll in our Peace of Mind Protection Plan. This quarterly program includes:

  • Two preventative inspections per year focused on bedrooms and living areas
  • Proactive monitoring of previously affected areas
  • If bed bugs are ever found again, you receive treatment at a significantly discounted rate
This plan is only available to homes that have completed our full bed bug service and have been officially cleared. Pricing for the Peace of Mind Protection Plan is provided upon successful completion of treatment.

All initial bed bug services include a 90-day warranty.
